Privacy policy

HopWatch uses Google Analytics to collect statistics about users' usage of the app. This includes data such as how often users open the app, how long they use the app, and unexpected app errors. Other information such as IP address and device information may be collected. All user information is anonymised and aggregated, and is not shared with third parties. No information about subreddits visited or posts viewed on Reddit is collected. Users can opt out of sharing usage statistics in the app settings.

HopWatch uses secure APIs to fetch content from Reddit and Imgur. HopWatch does not create or use any user accounts on Reddit or Imgur. HopWatch only uses Android account permissions for storing a "user-less" authorization token to make Reddit API requests. However, Reddit or Imgur may collect information they receive in the API requests, such as IP address and device information.
